FROZEN WHOLE DURIAN – RI 6 DURIAN

Durian fruit is among top Vietnam Specialties. There are two kinds of Frozen Durian in Vietnam: Monthong Durian and Ri 6 Durian. The frozen durian for export are whole, seed or seedless.

RI-6 durian fruit originates from the Southern province of Vinh Long in Vietnam and is to be the best durian variety in Southern Vietnam.

Monthong durian originated from Thailand and was brought to Vietnam in the early 1990s. Initially grown in the Southeast, later brought up for trial seeding in the Central Highlands.
